Our experience as a full service skateboard shop, an apparel store, and artist venue is realized by a lifelong environmentalist and sports enthusiast. By keeping things simple, growing our own food, and building our own structures, we pay forward the money saved to animal care and spreading the awareness about animals rights and how you can help.
All born out of a need to house everything under one roof.
Bellehaus combines a couple business ideas into something to nurture and wake up to everyday. By making charity donations a standard and minimum, we’re able to have fun creating and offering our hearts desires without limit. Create a large canvas paining in the morning? Auction off for charity. Build a new chicken coop for some special newcomers? They have a new home. We benefit animals in almost every activity we take part in.
The idea was to first start a farm to grow food and to house many types of animals that need a healthy place to stay. Then came the question on what would generate money to keep this land, keep things going. Something that can be nearby, one benefiting the other operation. The idea for a small hotel with an adjacent high quality eatery was born.
After this addition, it wasn’t much of a stretch to decide that this place would also host any and all artist intuitions to create, specializing in video and photo work. Will be finished with a fully equipped live performance stage and theater venue.
The only way this place can work is with careful planning, filtering out any distractions and focusing on programs to care for the farm. Rob’s knowledge gained by travel, off-grid / economical living, 8 years of private art school, business owning, and keeping things extremely simple is going to be a hallmark of Bellehaus.

What is Bellehaus?
Based off the famous school of the German art movement in the first half of the 20th century. Bellehaus is a way for a California artist and musician to practice so many passions under one roof: including hospitality, charity, nature, and health as a way of life.
What does Bellehaus offer for animals?
The whole property is meant to promote awareness of these creatures. The land and hotel is ready for dogs and cats: with long walkways, granite floors, waterproof bathrooms, and pet amenities during your stay. A portion of our proceeds standard goes to animal charities.
When will all of this be available?
July of 2025. Rooms open later this year. Some apparel items, music, artwork, and skateboards go out sometime in March. Donate and help build HERE.
Why stay at Bellehaus?
We aim to be the only 4-Star Bed and Breakfast that is pet friendly in the area. Animal activism is built right into the reservation. Artwork, counter culture, music, cinema, and animal philanthropy is all around the property, whether in paintings lining the walls or opportunities to get involved.
